Perfect for Stage Productions
In traditional theater, opera, and stage performances, audiences often sit on both sides of the stage. The vertical dual-side display feature ensures everyone can read the subtitles comfortably, regardless of their seating position.
How It Works
When text direction is set to "Vertical" and horizontal position is set to "Both", Sub!t automatically displays the same subtitle text on both the left and right edges of the screen simultaneously.
How to Enable
- Step 1: Set "Text Direction" to "Vertical"
- Step 2: Set "Horizontal Position" to "Both" (this option only appears in vertical mode)
- Step 3: Your subtitles will now display on both sides
Ideal Use Cases
- Traditional Opera: Chinese opera, Kabuki, and other traditional performances
- Theater Productions: Plays with audiences on multiple sides
- Concert Halls: Venues with wrap-around seating
- Religious Ceremonies: Services where attendees face different directions
Multi-Line Support
The dual-side display works with Sub!t's multi-line mode (up to 5 lines), allowing you to show multiple lines of vertical text on both sides simultaneously.
Position Fine-Tuning
Use the X and Y offset controls in the preview window to fine-tune the exact position of your dual-side subtitles. This ensures perfect alignment with your stage design and projection setup.
